SPOT A SCAMMER

Be aware of deceptive sales practices

Sometimes our customers are misled by representatives from other companies or manufacturers
and unknowingly enter into another contract while they are still under contract with Vivint, Inc.

FALSE CLAIMS

They may ask to sign a new contract

Someone posing as a Vivint rep may tell you we’re no longer in business, that we no longer service your area, or that we were sold to their company.
URGENT REQUESTS

They may seek access to your system

If a rep unexpectedly stops by and requests access to your system, or shows you documents to support they need access, verify their badge.
HIGH-PRESSURE TACTICS

They may try to replace equipment on the spot

Be cautious of reps claiming that your cellular communicator isn’t working or has been recalled and need to be replaced immediately.

Truth:

We will never send someone from a manufacturer to inspect or upgrade your system, unless it is a Smart Home Pro.
