The Smart Lighting Bridge connects a combination of 50 lighting devices including Smart Light Switches and Smart Light Bulbs. Vivint currently offers tunable, dimmable E26 standard, flood, and recessed LED Smart Light Bulbs that function on a Zigbee 3.0 network.
You don’t need a bridge to install standalone smart lights, but you need the Smart Lighting Bridge to customize a Vivint Smart Lighting system. It enables communication among your lighting devices and connects them to your Vivint smart home.
