What is the range of the Vivint Emergency Pendant?
The Vivint Emergency Pendant works within approximately 300 feet of the Smart Hub in open space. This range may vary depending on walls, furniture, or other obstructions in the home. It’s designed to give users flexibility to move around while still staying connected to emergency support. Test the pendant in key areas of the home for best performance.
Is the emergency pendant waterproof?
The Vivint Emergency Pendant is water-resistant, meaning it can handle splashes or brief exposure to moisture, but it is not waterproof. It should not be submerged in water or worn in the shower. It’s safe to wear near sinks or in humid environments, but avoid fully immersing it in water.
How does the Vivint Panic Pendant connect to emergency responders?
When the pendant is pressed and held for 2–3 seconds, it sends a signal to the Vivint Smart Hub and immediately alerts the Vivint 24/7 monitoring team. A specialist then contacts the user through the panel’s two-way talk feature to assess the situation. The sales rep was excellent
The sales rep was excellent. He was not very pushy (for door to door salesmen), and was very informative in helping us pick the products we actually needed. My only complaint is that It was a long prosses. They were insistent on doing the install the same day which had us waiting all day and part of the night for the technician to show up. our installation ran passed 11pm at night once he finally showed up.

I like vivint so far becuase it is easy…
I like vivint so far becuase it is easy to deal with the software. The team was nice and knowlegeable. However, customers need to know that there are 1 front door camera, 3 door sensors, 1 thermostart and a motion sensor. You have to purchase the rest of the equipment.

Overall it was a pretty good…
Overall it was a pretty good experience. The installer came late in the evening and stayed much later than I preferred. He also didn’t have four of the items to be installed and said he would restock and come back in a couple days. He did come back but still didn’t have a couple items. They never did leave me a yard sign so at this point I’ll just cut my loses on that one. The equipment is working great and I like the system. Install just wanted smooth.
